EHS GRADES owns and operates an online organizational performance management, compliance auditing, training solutions and contractor-management platform called (“Integrated Performance Reporting System” or “IPRS”). Through IPRS, we collect environmental health and safety, procurement, quality and regulatory information from our subscribing industry clients and contractor members, data providers (“Data Providers”), and other private and public third-party sources (such as governmental databases), for the purpose of sharing that information with certain subscribers (“Subscribing Members”) such as Industry Clients/Industry Client (“Industry Clients/Project Owners”) for their internal use or use in their contractor and supplier due-diligence and management processes. Generally, the only Personal Data we will collect is what is provided to us voluntarily by our Subscribing Members and Data Providers. We provide a link to our Terms of Use and take precautions to ensure that the purposes for which we collect and use your Personal Data are clear. Although we do not normally collect information directly from individuals, we take reasonable steps to ensure that any party providing your Personal Data to us has informed you of this and has obtained your consent prior to doing so. Subscribing Members and Data Providers provide us information, which may include Personal Data, in response to requests from EHS GRADES for invoicing and payment, training and auditing, performance evaluation and contractor management. The types of Personal Data we might collect may include your name, occupation, employer, contact information, training and work-related history, and other information relevant to your work qualifications that other clients, subscribing members and data providers may request for.
We use the information we collect to provide our services to EHS GRADES-Subscribing Members. As part of our internal processes, we may disclose the information we collect to our related corporate affiliates who assist us in providing services, though we will ensure that all such corporate affiliates protect your Personal Data with the same level of protection as provided in this Privacy Shield Policy. All such information is maintained in the United States, where it is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. In addition, the United States Federal Trade Commission is the statutory body that has jurisdiction to hear any claims against EHS GRADES regarding compliance with the Privacy Shield. There is a possibility, under certain conditions, for individuals to invoke last resort binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.
