EHS GRADES is the global leader in environmental health and safety (EHS) performance management, EHS GRADES provides uniquely designed, cost-effective solutions, offering an all-inclusive, one-stop platform for performance evaluation, contractor management, compliance auditing and training resources to meet our client's needs. EHS GRADES owns and operates an online organizational performance management, compliance auditing, training solutions and contractor-management platform called (“Integrated Performance Reporting System” or “IPRS”). Through IPRS, we collect environmental health and safety, procurement, quality and regulatory information from our subscribing industry clients and contractor members, data providers (“Data Providers”), and other private and public third-party sources (such as governmental databases), for the purpose of sharing that information with certain subscribers (“Subscribing Members”) such as Industry Clients/Industry Client (“Industry Clients/Project Owners”) for their internal use or use in their contractor and supplier due-diligence and management processes. Generally, the only Personal Data we will collect is what is provided to us voluntarily by our Subscribing Members and Data Providers. We provide a link to our Terms of Use and take precautions to ensure that the purposes for which we collect and use your Personal Data are clear. Although we do not normally collect information directly from individuals, we take reasonable steps to ensure that any party providing your Personal Data to us has informed you of this and has obtained your consent prior to doing so. In addition to the information provided to us voluntarily from Subscribing Members, and Data Providers, we also gather certain information automatically when you visit our website (https://www.ehsgrades.com) (the "Website"). This information includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type, device type, domain name, access times, duration of visit, and referring URL. Subscribing Members and Data Providers provide us information, which may include Personal Data, in response to requests from EHS GRADES for invoicing and payment, training and auditing, performance evaluation and contractor management. The types of Personal Data we might collect may include your name, occupation, employer, contact information, training and work-related history, and other information relevant to your work qualifications that other clients, subscribing members and data providers may request for.
We use the information we collect to provide our services to EHS GRADES-Subscribing Members. As part of our internal processes, we may disclose the information we collect to our related corporate affiliates who assist us in providing services, though we will ensure that all such corporate affiliates protect your Personal Data with the same level of protection as provided in this Privacy Shield Policy. Except as provided below, we will not disclose your Personal Data for any purposes other than in connection with providing our services to our Subscribing Members. As we rely on our Subscribing Members and Data Providers for information, we take steps to ensure that these parties understand the importance of keeping the information they maintain and share through EHS GRADES as accurate and current as possible. However, unless we are notified that any of your Personal Data is inaccurate or incomplete, we cannot take steps to correct it. You have the right to request access to, and correction of any of your Personal Data that we hold. Please contact us at any time to request access to or correction or removal of your Personal Data. Given the nature of our services, we may need to retain Personal Data after the end of any particular engagement involving Subscribing Members or Data Providers (e.g., to provide a historical audit trail for environmental health and safety and for qualification purposes).
We are committed to protecting the security of information stored in EHS GRADES system. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure, as well as from misuse, interference or loss. We store all information (including any of your Personal Data in our possession) in electronic form. All such information is maintained in the United States, where it is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. We constantly monitor and regularly update our security procedures to ensure that we collect and store information as securely as reasonably possible. In the event we transfer your Personal Data, we will take appropriate measures to protect your privacy and the Personal Data we transfer. Should we need to transfer your Personal Data for purposes other than for providing Services and in accordance with this Policy, we will, to the extent permitted by law, obtain assurances from the recipients that they will safeguard your Personal Data in a manner that is consistent with this Policy. In compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield principles, EHS GRADES commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your Personal Data within 45 days of receiving a complaint. EHS GRADES has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the Privacy Shield Principles to BBB EU Privacy Shield, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the U.S. and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed. In addition, the United States Federal Trade Commission is the statutory body that has jurisdiction to hear any claims against EHS GRADES regarding compliance with the Privacy Shield. There is a possibility, under certain conditions, for individuals to invoke last resort binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.
